QR codes are quick response two-dimensional barcodes that look like square black patterns arranged on a white background. The codes can be scanned with a smart phone application that will direct you to information on a website.
The codes are appearing on product offers, real estate advertising, event information and even grave markers. Some monument companies are now offering “living headstones” that provide website and hosting services to their customers. The QR codes can provide obituary information, photo galleries and stories from friends and family.
