Many Attend Seasonal Candle Lighting Remembrance Ceremony

More than 250 people attended Laurel Grove Cemetery's Seasonal Candle
Lighting Remembrance Ceremony on Sunday, December 10th in the cemetery's
chapel.

"We say that cemeteries are special places and
healing places; this vigil was a reflection of those words," explained Bernard
E. Stoecklein, Jr., chairman and CEO of CMS Mid-Atlantic, Inc., the company that
provides management services to Laurel Grove Cemetery. "The idea
that we opened the chapel for this occasion and provided such a meaningful
service to help those who grieve was appreciated by all. When those
in attendance lit their candles and each mentioned the names of the loved ones
they were remembering and holding vigil for, there was not a dry eye in the
chapel. One mother, son and daughter held six candles for family members buried
at Laurel Grove," Stoecklein added.
