On April 14, 2006 Mr. Stoecklein, Chairman of CMS Mid-Atlantic Inc. answered questions of New Jersey residents in the St. Giles Chapel at Restland Memorial Park one of New Jersey's most beautiful cemeteries.

<DIV class=Item-Summary> CMS Mid-Atlantic, Inc. Chairman and CEO Bernard Stoecklein answered the question by saying it is the law. In C.45:27-7 it states that a cemetery company organized in accordance with this act after December 1, 1971 shall not operate a cemetery unless the company is a nonprofit corporation organized and operated in compliance with Title 15A of the New Jersey Statutes and has been issued a certificate of authority to do so by the board. <PLACENAME w:st="on">New Jersey</PLACENAME> <PLACETYPE w:st="on">Cemeteries</PLACETYPE> and New Jersey Funeral Homes are regulated by the <PLACE w:st="on"><PLACENAME w:st="on">New Jersey</PLACENAME> <PLACETYPE w:st="on">Cemetery</PLACETYPE></PLACE> and Funeral Boards.   Mr. Stoecklein when on to say that in 2003 new laws were passed that govern cemeteries and the cemeteries that CMS Mid-Atlantic, Inc. provides services properly formed new nonprofit corporations to manage each of those cemeteries.
