A bylaw is being drafted to increase cemetery rates by 15 per cent each year for the next five years, starting in 2010 in order to make the cemetery self sustaining. The goal is to make the cemetery self-sustaining. In the story, according to represenatives from the municipalilty, "even with the increase in costs for users, the municipally-owned cemetery is still a relative bargain in terms of final resting places." | | |
