Greenwood Cemetery invites members of the Hamilton community and their family and friends to participate in a Seasonal Candle Lighting Vigil on Saturday, December 15, 2007 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Greenwood Memorial Chapel. Each person in attendance will be invited to light a candle during the ceremony in memory of their loved ones. The inspiring event will include musical arrangements, community fellowship and light refreshments. “If your loved one passed away last month, last year or even many years ago, the loss can be especially painful during the holidays,” explains John Novey, family and community service manager at Greenwood Cemetery. “Sharing this dignified, warm remembrance of their loved ones with friends and neighbors can help bring comfort to those mourning the loss of those they hold dear during the holiday season.” Although the event is scheduled from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., those wishing to participate can feel free to come light a candle and stay for 10 minutes or join in the remembrance celebration for the entire two-hour duration. Greenwood Cemetery is located at 1800 Hamilton Avenue, in Hamilton, New Jersey. Those planning to attend are asked to R.S.V.P. by December 10, 2007 by calling 908-851-9365. ### |
