Laurel Grove Cemetery, with a
reputation for providing superior service to people of the Islamic faith, is
designating more than 3,400 additional burial spaces in its beautiful Oak Hill
section to meet the demands of the Islamic community.
Bordering the Passaic River in Totowa, New Jersey, and located less
than 30 minutes from New York City, Laurel Grove Cemetery
has been exceeding the burial needs of the metropolitan area’s Islamic community
for many years.
“Islamic families come to Laurel
Grove because we are sensitive to their specific customs and traditions. Our grounds are beautifully maintained
and our staff understands and respects Islamic families’ visitation needs after
burial,” explained Dennis Sabatini, the special liaison to the Islamic Community
at Laurel Grove Cemetery.
Sabatini continued, “We are fully staffed and have a 24-hour
telephone answering service to provide immediate response so that the Islamic
families we serve can conduct their burials prior to
sunset.”
Laurel Grove
Cemetery is affiliated with 16 Islamic organizations
and mosques and serves as the final resting place for thousands of Islamic
families.
There are many gardens throughout the cemetery that are specifically
designated for the burial of people of the Islamic faith including the Karacay
I, II and III sections and the newly developed Oak Hill section.
Islamic families who choose Laurel
Grove Cemetery
can rest assured that by having one of the largest maintenance and preservation
trust funds in New Jersey, the
cemetery will maintain its peaceful beauty and strong heritage forever.
