| May 06, 2007 | | Family Protection Benefits only at CMS managed cemeteries | Bernard Stoecklein; chairman at CMS Mid-Atlantic, Inc. answered questions yesterday at Hollywood Memorial Park about the benefits afforded families who prearrange their cemetery property.
The question was asked by a group of family members visiting a recent burial site of a boy killed in an accident but buried at no charge at Hollywood Memorial Park. The immediate family stopped at the office and asked to see Mr. Stoecklein if he was available. The family wanted to express their gratitude for having received the benefits.
Mr. Stoecklein stood with the family as they prayed at the grave of the young boy. After praying with the family, Mr. Stoecklein explained that the idea of helping families at the worst time in their lives; a time when a parent looses a child first developed in 1971 when he sat with a family who had lost three children in a car accident. The family had prearranged their cemetery spaces a year earlier but never planned for a child of theirs to die. Mr. Stoecklein said that at that time he thought that there ought to be some way to protect children too when a family prearrange their own cemetery spaces. A few days later he said he secured permission to offer to every family who prearranges with the cemetery the family protection benefits. Today the benefits extend to all prearranged property with CMS managed cemeteries i.e. burial spaces, mausoleums, underground mausoleums and cremation niches too.
Simply Mr. Stoecklein says that should a family that prearranges their cemetery property with CMS; until the age of 22 years and or marriage CMS will provide each of the families children with the same property needs at no cost God forbid this should happen to anyone… However, as we all know; He sometimes wants them early than we expect and therefore we want to help a family at that worst time in their lives.
There were tear-filled eyes as the families said thank you to Mr. Stoecklein.
