| November 07, 2007 | | Veterans Day is November 11, however the United States will celebrate the national holiday on Monday, November 12. Banks and government offices will be closed. Retailers will have sales. Public and private school students can sleep in because classes will be cancelled. Does Veterans Day hold significance for you, or is it just another day? This Veterans Day, please pause for a moment to remember all who served to protect our freedom. If there is a parade in your community, why not attend and cheer for the veterans as they pass. You could also honor those who served by visiting the veterans section of your local cemetery or memorial park. | | |
