| October 21, 2007 | | A heartfelt “Happy Anniversary” is extended to Mario Cutugno who marked his 30th anniversary with CMS Mid-Atlantic, Inc. on October 15.
Mario began his career at Hollywood Cemetery, as a part-time grass cutter, shortly after his high school graduation. He continued to work for Hollywood while attending Union County College; and while he was still in college, the Board appointed him to serve as the cemetery’s Foreman. When Hollywood Cemetery merged with Hollywood Memorial Park, Mario became the Superintendent of both parks. Always a busy person, upon graduation of college, Mario remained at Hollywood and attended the Essex County Sheriff’s Department Police Academy. When he graduated from the Academy, he worked for both Hollywood and the Essex County Sheriff’s Department. He was the youngest officer in Essex County and retired as a Captain when CMS acquired Hollywood. Soon, he was appointed Vice President of Maintenance — a position he held until April, 2006 when he was promoted to Vice President of Cemetery Operations.
Editor’s Note: Mario, the entire CMS family congratulates you on 30 wonderful years. | | |
