Cremation Can Be Planned in Advance of Need

Pre-Planning is Not Limited to Ground Burial

If you are among the growing number of Americans selecting cremation as an alternative to ground burial, it's important to note that you can pre-plan you service and memorialization just as you can for ground burial or mausoleum entombment.

Cremation is merely an act of preparing the body for final disposition.  It's a step in the process that is only complete when the individual is memorialized.  There are more options for cremation memorialization than the other two types of disposition combined.  Choices include:

Urns that can be taken home or placed in a cemetery niche

Niches with glass fronts

Columbaria

In-ground memorials with canisters for placement of the cremated remains

Scattering gardens with memorialization plaques
